Our new production unit is taking shape
In April, our new confectionery manufacturing facility in Çorlu north of Istanbul was approved for BRC, IFS, ISO 22000 and ISO 9001 certification.
By gaining this certification, we passed a major milestone toward establishing a top quality, state-of-the-art factory. We are now very close to the final goal of supplying our customers with high quality products from Europe’s largest B2B confectionery factory.
Production is up and running
Two very experienced auditors from one of our major customers recently visited the new factory.
“The factory is modern and the layout is facilitating effective hygiene and good production flow. Systems and procedures are working very well and the employees are highly committed to continuous improvement” they concluded after the audit.
Both auditors were positively surprised to see a functioning manufacturing unit after such a short period of time, and are confident that Gumlink Confectionery Company will deliver high quality products from the new production facility.
